MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is visible to the audience
Collaborate with the stakeholders to understand their needs, read scripts and storylines to understand animation requirements, prepare presentations with raw designs, develop and elaborate on storyboards.
Work creatively to produce original and aesthetically pleasing designs and solutions using software and other techniques to produce animations.
Research industry trends and developments and learn new applications to provide accurate designs for requested animations.
Editing video footage and adding effects/elements to enhance motion graphics.
Staying up to date on the latest graphic design/ video editing techniques
Reviewing shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity.
Listen to feedback and alter animations/ video edits to better suit organization needs.
Use creativity and artistic techniques to tell a story or provide information in visual form
QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ years of experience as motion graphic artist/ animator/ video editor.
Understanding of animation styles and storytelling techniques.
Expert knowledge of modern video editing techniques, be able to visualize directorial concepts and work according to a strict time schedule.
Ability to color correct existing and newly shot footage to suit the theme of videos.
Ability to insert dialog (VO), sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects as required.
Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and computer skills.
Ability to work independently or with a team to develop animations and solve problems.
Attention to detail, adaptability, and receptiveness to feedback and direction.
Familiarity with 3D composition and special effects is a plus.
