Responsible for the daily accounting activities, following up, verifying, entering transactions, and preparing reports to ensure the integrity of accounting information.
Accurate and error free accounting entries.
Preparation of banks, clients and suppliers’ reconciliations and following up on discrepancies.
Generating and sharing monthly reports for each company under the group
Following up on the work in progress balances and ensure its validity.
Preparing payments, checks, transfers, and receipts and confirming delivery and reception by the concerned parties and reporting unresolved checks and payments.
Preparing on a periodic basis the receivables aging reports, communicating the collection schedules, confirming the recording accuracy of receipts from clients, and ensuring that all due invoices are paid on time.
Follow up on collection with clients and ensuring timely payments
Direct reporting on any overdue.
Perform bank transfers and pay slips
Follow up on payroll with HR manager.
Proper filing and maintenance of accounting records and supporting documents (hard and soft copies).
Maintaining a healthy relation with all suppliers.
Assisting in year‐end suppliers’ financial evaluation.
Preparing monthly, a profit & loss report and a commission report
Prepare weekly status reports
Supporting the auditor with VAT and NSSF matters
Assisting the auditor with the quarterly balance sheet
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or any relevant major from a reputable university
Minimum four years of experience as a senior accountant or any other related positions
Profound knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
Experience with maintaining a general ledger and month-end/year-end closing process
In depth knowledge of MS Office and Excel
Excellent quantitative, communication, planning and controlling skills
Fluent in English, Arabic and French
Organized and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
